Gozer is a powerful demigod from the Ghostbusters Universe and was an important part of the original movie's plot - being its main antagonist - although depicted as female in the film it was stated by Egon Spengler that Gozer is technically genderless and could take any form it desired.
Gozer was a traveller between worlds and a destroyer deity that was responsible for the destruction of many worlds, unfortunately for mankind Gozer would soon set its sights on Earth as its next potential target.
Gozer's most famous alter-ego is the Staypuft Marshmallow Man - a popular character in its own right.
